Best quality video upload site compatible with WordPress

  I want to post some video clips from my previous productions to my blog. They need to look as good as possible because they’re my calling card for my work. Other than Youtube and Google can anyone recommend a superior site that will work with WordPress? I understand that Brightcove isn’t yet available to WordPress users..

  Brithcove is possible (unless staff did something new in the meantime). You get the two numbers from the video link and use them this way:

  [brightcove vid=NUMBER2_HERE&exp=NUMBER1_HERE]

  There is of course the WordPress video player, which works with the space upgrade. It looks good and supports very high quality video, including HD:

  Tellyworth, thanks for your reply. I had gotten the impression from previous reviews that the WordPress video player was not very good. Have there been changes to it?

  Yes, it’s regularly updated. I don’t know much about it, not being a video guy, but as a viewer I now prefer the WP player to most others.

  Thanks tellyworth. I did take a look at the WordPress.tv site. Maybe it’s just me but it looked a bit soft. The type was not crisp and sharp.

  I use Vimeo as well as the wordpress video player (depending on my needs)
