best theme for personal blog…

I think I, myself, am the problem. I like to learn all the options and delete them from consideration. So I started with ‘Coraline’…A lot of design choices. I’m using ‘Chateau’ now. But the font is too fancy for me. A one column format presents me with a long blank page and, as anyone who knows anything about writing knows, a long blank page is a monster on the loose.
So I, as a new blogger, could use your help. Fancy or plain? Two column or three? Modern or traditional? Microformats or…what the ^#*$%# are microformats? You have inadvertently created a nightmare in my mind!! hehe. Oh, by the way, my blog is about Bipolar Disorder. Sometimes I make easy decisions maddening.
