Best theme for the need?

  Hello, I am interested in purchasing the Watson theme for my blog but on the live preview, it doesn’t look that it will show my pictures (which I include with each post) on the home page (you have to ‘read article’ to see post & photo. My questions are: a) how much tweaking can I do to alter how the posts are shown on the main page and/or b) is Watson not a good fit for food blog? Thanks very much,

  Hello Kristan,

  Every theme has different features. To achieve with your blog what you see in the Live Demo you will have to configure it a bit more. With Watson, each post will have an option “Show in featured slider” that allows it to appear in the slider at the top as you can see in the demo, using the post “Featured Image”.

  The same “Featured Image” option is used to display the image on the side in the list.

  As how much customization you will be able to do, it’s the customization you see when you do the Live Preview in the sidebar. On top of that you might buy the Custom Design upgrade, but that then will require CSS knowledge to be used (and it still won’t be able to change the structure of the theme itself).
