Best themes for writer portfolios blogs?

Any suggestions for the best themes for a writing portfolio?
I would like to create a clean, minimalistic website to showcase my writing and feature my blog. I would love to have a page for each publication I’ve written for, and then portfolio-style options for clicking on each story within that publication.
Any suggestions for the best option? I’m experimenting with Radcliffe right now and love it for my blog, but I’m having difficulty with that theme for the portfolio.

Radcliffe seems to resemble Harmonic and Intergalactic. So if you are attracted to that style then you might want to look at those. However, I wouldn’t call any of these themes “minimalistic.” Slow-loading, loud, and bulky come to mind.
If you like image links to your stories, there are a number of options with portfolio or grid-style page templates ideal for displaying image links to posts.
I think Mixfolio (demo) might suit your requirements better than others, but you might also look at others among the following:

Make sure to click through on the themes you like to see how the demo site is set up.Using filters in the Theme Showcase is your best start, but sometimes it’s hard to pigeonhole a theme because maybe you’d use a theme in a way that someone else may not. For example, I’m currently using Penscratch (which is on that list BTW) for my photography site. I also like Moka and Cocoa, which cost $18 to use.
