Best way to customize blog email post to subscribers
-
I kind of asked this in my previous question, but he problem I’m having now is different. My WP post emails to my subscribers are the generic ones sent out even though I’m using a premium theme. My issue is that it displays the whole post in the email so it’s possible to read the post in the email without going to the actual blog and never being able to see likes, share, comments, subscribe etc… I actually have the blog set to only show a portion of the post and have a read more button below that but that doesn’t carry over to the email. How can I solve this, and possibly send more custom, nicer emails to my subscribers without it becoming a lot more complicated with scheduling posts? Is a newsletter type plugin the only option?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@glencumbus
https://glencumbus.wordpress.com/ is an empty site.What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you refer to please?
And, exactly which username account registered that site?
I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting. And, that is why we are all prompted to provide the relevant URL when we create a new thread. -

Hi @glencumbus, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help from http://wordpress.org/support/. These forums are for those hosted here at WordPress.com.
