Best way to design your own layout?

    Hi everyone

    I’m fairly new to wordpress, so i hope i’m asking in the correct place for help. (if not I would appriciate to be suggested elsewhere)

    I’m coming from Adobe Muse background, where usually I draw custom layout completely on my own. Is it possible to do so in wordpress too? (without coding) I mean, like when you are given and dictated to replicate a layout from start to finish

    The closest bet I could find are some page builders like beaver or headway, but i’m still not quite sure that you can actually lay out things 100% in your control. I might be wrong though since I only saw youtube videos about them.

    (PS by specific, I mean nitpick clients who demand that ‘that’ button/menu/box or whatever, should be like that and no other way)
