Best way to get yourself out there?

So, I’m pretty new at this and I was just wondering, “What is the best way to get your blog out into the wide web world?” Any help is greatly appreciated!

There is no single best way. There are many approaches but the bottom line is that there is no such thing as passive blog promotion . The reason I’m emphasizing this is because many new bloggers assume that if they blog readers will just happen. This is not the case.
The forum search box contains lots of traffic promotion and increase readers threads. Some will lead you to posts on my blog like these two:

http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2009/01/15/twenty-five-steps-to-increase-blog-traffic/After I post these links I won’t be surprised if other members who do not read the contents of the posts I link to suggest many of the same things. ;) The bottom line is that you need to create a reader and search engine friendly blog, and use social media and social networks, online groups, forums, blog directories, and blog carnivals not only to “get the word out” but also to create relationships with bloggers who blog on the same or similar subjects. If you do employ the 25 step approach diligently, I can promise you that the targeted traffic (readers who are interested in your exact subject matter in your posts) will increase.
