  • Unknown's avatar

hey all, i’ve been playing around with customizing my site layout and wanted to ask — what’s your go-to method for organizing content-heavy pages like educational resources or student portals?
i’m working on something kinda similar to schoologylausd.com, and trying to find the cleanest way to balance function with good design. any plugin/theme recommendations or layout tricks?

    thanks in advance 🙌

Focus on clear structure and intuitive navigation. Use tabs, accordions, or collapsible sections to group related content. A sticky sidebar or top menu helps users access key sections easily. Prioritize search functionality and use consistent icons and labels. For themes/plugins, look into BuddyBoss, LearnDash, or Elementor Pro—great for education-focused layouts. Clean design + smart UX = better engagement.

    Hi there!

Thanks for getting in touch! This support channel handles assistance on WordPress.com hosted sites. I had a quick look at your account, and it doesn’t look like there are any WordPress.com sites connected to it. Could you let us know the site you’re working on? That way, we can take a closer look and point you in the right direction.

If your site is hosted elsewhere and you’re using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org), your best bet would be to post your question over in the WordPress.org support forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/. Your hosting support team should also be able to help with this.
