Beta blog
-
My company’s IT dept has recently set up a staging beta blog where we publish content there first and then sync it to a live site. This is confusing my WordPress.com connection, which lists my live site as the primary. Please advise. The message I am getting is:
Your siteurl option is set up as http://beta.invtools.com/blog but your WordPress.com connection lists it as http://www.invtools.com/blog!
Your home option is set up as http://beta.invtools.com/blog but yor WordPres.com connection lists it as http://www.invtools.com/blog!
Option 1: The data listed above is not for my current site. Please disconnect, and then form a new connection to WordPress.com for this site using my current settings.
Option 2: That used to be my URL for this site before I changed it. Update the WordPress.com Cloud’s data to match my current settings.

We provide support here only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs and you are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
