  I stopped receiving any comments by mail after it was activated :(
  anyone has that problem??

  I’ve not had that problem but my reply by email has never worked.

  Correct you have to approve the comment before you can reply
  to the person that left the comment.

  Worked for me today. Now I just have to get off WordPress.COM long enough to actually need to use the feature. :->

  Mine hasn’t worked since it got activated. Good thing I still receive the regular email notifications from “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” <(email visible only to moderators and staff)>

  I got an email from support yesterday and they tweaked something and it now works for me.

  Vivian, I read in a thread where you said you’re not even receiving the normal user comments by email. I had this happen to me once and all I did to fix it was “refresh” the settings by entering another email, save that and then re-enter the email that you originally used. See if that works.

  No, I’ve not said that. I get all my comments by email – never had a problem with that. I just can’t do the reply by email thing.

  Apologies, must have been one of my coffee-less mornings than the brain doesn’t quite register that the eyes see. This feature makes replying to comments on the mobile phone a much welcomed convenience especially when you’re stuck between work and have a dozen of comments you want to reply to but can’t because web browsing + 3.5G broadband + 2.5″ LCD just not practical to use even if I were just killing time.

  Update: While this works when replying from my Eudora Pro email client ((Gmail POP3/SMTP) on the PC, I just tried replying to the same user comment from my Nokia E71 (IMAP4/SMTP) and it didn’t work! So much for that :(
