  So to keep the PC version of WordPress.com app updated, they started to patch it on. I’ve received it on my Windows 8 laptop (I was on Beta channel), and as soon as I installed it, I can’t do anything. It doesn’t load the site. I know this would improve, but I’m just a little disappointed here.

  Hi professorpaul04,

  as soon as I installed it, I can’t do anything. It doesn’t load the site. I know this would improve, but I’m just a little disappointed here.

  It sounds like you are you able to load the app itself but not make any changes to your site? Is that correct?

  A screenshot of what you are seeing would be helpful if you could send one:

  The screenshot can be uploaded to your Media Library through a browser or uploaded to a service like Snaggy.

  Also, are you seeing any error messages?

  Yes, that’s true, but I’ve already uninstalled the Beta and replaced it immediately with the stable one, in case I need to write a blog.
