Better Customization and Theme Design

    Hello there
very concise: wordpress is just excellent. I have two blogs and a website, all in wordpress platform. the only thing I think should be improved (in all plans from free to business) is more customization tools. to be clear crystal blogger is the best platform (only) in this area because it has so many customization tools and a layout area and also you have access to HTML codes. by using these three parts you can easily change any blogger theme as much as you catch your favorite design. why wordpress shouldn’t be like that?
thank you so much in advance

On this blogging platform, every site wearing the same theme is using the same underlying template and all editing to it affects every site wearing the same theme. That that is why only Staff can edit templates. It’s also why only limited CSS editing can be done with a Premium or Business upgrade.

    Frequently Asked Questions
Does Custom Design let me edit HTML?
No. Provided you have purchased a Premium or Business plan, Custom Design allows you to add or replace CSS for WordPress.com themes; it does not give you access to change HTML markup or PHP code. You can turn any WordPress.com theme into a blank canvas by turning off the theme’s CSS in your custom CSS settings.

    Hi
Thank you so much because of your answer.
Actually, the last thing I think about is custom CSS, More important tools that are not against the policy you explained:

    1. We customize colors but not all colors of the weblog, when we have some pallets for almost all themes why not having pre-designed pallets and instead have this option to customize all colors of the blog?

    2. Why not able to customize the padding, margins and all other sizes of the blogs?

    3. Some themes have layout options, why not all themes have that? For example, I want to have sidebars only at the front page but in single post page, I want to have only one column for reading.

These three options could give us this chance to achieve our favorite design from wordpress themes.

Thank you so much in advance
    Best regards
