Better Latex (math expressions) support (hopefully Latex.js plugin)

    I know WordPress support Latex at minimum level but it’s still uncomfortable.

    • No preview at editing stage.

      • I have to load entire preview page every time I want to see the result of every single change.

    • There’s only one look and it’s poorly readable.

      • gray-font on gray-background? really?!
      Also I suspect they are bitmap images not vector images? they are poorly antialised

    • It’s not rendering in thumbnail view.

      • Raw Latex code appears instead.

    • $latex $ + Paste as plain text is required.

      • This one may seem trivial extra work but It’s huge. Usually Latex code is generated from outside of wordpress editor. Once I have the code, I have to be remembered in where to put it, then type $latex $, then copy-paste the code in. I have to repeat it for every expressions. It’s tedious. It would be better if I could just copy-paste html block.

    Tiny typo in expression is huge in mathematics. Latex already provides wonderful, easy, light-weight modules and it’s completely free. Please consider better support for mathematic expressions.
