Better support for link blogging

WordPress.com really needs better support for link blogging
Link blogs in their purest form are only just links (a title/headline and a hyperlinked/markdown link) and no comment most often. The RSS feed should support this and when viewed in an RSS reader the title should point to the external linked article/site/source and not my site. It makes no sense to send people to my site just for a link to an external site.
The built in cross posting should work with link blogging as well and only post the Title/headline text and the external link to Twitter etc and not a link back to my site.

Hi there,
I’ve filed a feature request for this, but please keep in mind that the WordPress software was not designed for link-blogging. It was designed for people who wish to create original content, and that is also what we promote on WordPress.com.
You might want to look at the self-hosted version of WordPress instead, called WordPress.org. There you might be able to achieve this via a plugin, or by writing redirect rules directly into the site’s source files. The WordPress.org forums will be better able to tell you if it’s possible and how to do it, though:
