Really WordPress, I’m just trying to help you out here. I don’t need your help. So thanks for not having an actual “contact us” feature.

  • Hi there,

That email is not phishing. It is an email sent out by our domain registrar to verify the email address for all new domains that are registered on WordPress.com.

In some cases you might also receive that email if you have a domain that recently expired, as is the case with your domain, impressonion.com

You can see screen shots of the emails that are sent out in our support documentation on registering new domains:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/register-domain/#email-validation-and-verification

So thanks for not having an actual “contact us” feature.

You submitted this thread via our contact form. If you had a paid upgrade that form would have directed you to email or live chat. You were directed here to the forums because you don’t own any paid upgrades.
