Beware WordPress
-
Beware WordPress. I paid a substantial amount for a lifetime web hosting for my late wife who passed away from breast cancer. Just a few years later, the photos have dropped off which was the essence of the site. There is no way to contact the company by email or by phone. I would not resort to a public forum but could not find a way to resolve the problem otherwise so just wanted to let others know.
In summary, I would be very careful of using this company for business. If wordpress could contact me to resolve this, I would appreciate it. Our web site is http://lynneburgess.wordpress.com/the-scrapbook/

There is no history of transactions or upgrades on your account or any of the other accounts attached to that blog, and we don’t offer any lifetime upgrades.
There are three images that were uploaded through the blog itself, and those still exist in the blog’s Media Library.
The bulk of the photos on the blog were actually embedded in a slideshow from http://www.slide.com/
Slide.com did offer a paid lifetime upgrade, but they have since gone out of business.
If you still have access to the photos, and access to the blog, I’d be more than happy to help you get everything up and running through us, and not a third-party.
