  Hello, I have this big ugly blue circle in the middle of my title page that I can’t seem to get rid of! Help!

  Hi there, that is your account gravatar (like it appears here in the forums) and it is a part of the theme you are using Independent Publisher 2. Here’s more on working with this theme https://wordpress.com/theme/independent-publisher-2

  If you don’t want your gravatar to appear at all there, follow these instructions for removing it

  Independent Publisher 2 was built with the personal blogger in mind, so a Gravatar profile image can be used in the header.

  By default, the site owner’s Gravatar is displayed. To change it, go to https://wordpress.com/me and choose another photo or image for your profile. You can also go to Customize → Theme Options and change the Gravatar email address to another. If you don’t want to display a Gravatar at all, remove the email address from the field completely.
