Big Brother is able to use pull quotes?
-
Hi. I tried using pull quotes on my Big Brother theme, and discovered that, if I don’t make line breaks, it takes all the width of the post. And I need to calculate where the line break will be, or only a small portion of space would be left for the post itself.
I thinks this is strange. All pull quotes are like that, or it’s part of the theme doesn’t accepting the feature?

Could you please create a test post on your blog using pull quotes and link it here? It will help me understand the problem better so I can try to help you.

It seems this link is broken.
I translated the page content and see this message:
OOOPS! THIS PAGE CAN NOT BE FOUND.
It seems that nothing has been found at this location. How about try a search?Could you please check?

I see some custom inline CSS applied to your pull quotes to align it to either right or left and in one case, font size set to small.
Have you added this CSS in the text editor? or did you do something different?

The code used was:
<blockquote class="alignleft" style="font-size:small;">A bolder pull blockquote that aligns to the left</blockquote><blockquote class="alignleft">Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.</blockquote><blockquote class="alignright">A bolder pull blockquote that aligns to the right</blockquote>I inserted these parameters following what was told here.

The CSS classes alignright and alignleft that you linked are applicable for Twenty Sixteen theme.
CSS is theme-specific. So using the same styles in another theme will not necessarily give the expected result.
You can use the Twenty Sixteen CSS classes with Big Brother theme but you will have to tweak CSS or line breaks or post width as you mentioned in your original post above. Just using the other theme’s classes won’t work as expected without tweaking because they both are essentially different themes.
