Big Brother needs support to the featured image function!

  Hello. I created an archive page to my blog, that uses the Big Brother theme, but can’t add thumbnails for each post, because the theme doesn’t supports Featured Images.

  I really like this theme, and could not find another that is so visually appropiate for my blog, so I beg for an unpdate to this theme.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Every theme is uniquely designed. Having any theme re-designed to add any feature here is a very rare event indeed. That is why I suggest do not hold your breath waiting for this addition to be made, and instead modify your expectations, and use a theme that is designed to have featured images.

  View all themes that support featured images or visit the showcase and click Find a Theme → Features, then check the Featured Images box.

  You can add featured images through the new editor. While BigBrother doesn’t do anything with them, you can use them with a display-posts shortcode.

  I recommend adding images at are similar aspect ratios (all square, all portrait, or whatever you choose) since Big Brother doesn’t automatically crop them.

  I already tried that. I added featured images to two posts, but nothing changed on my archive page, that uses the “display-posts” with the “image_size” parameter.

  OK, following the instructions supernovia gave on my other thread, I could add the featured images and make them appear on my archive page. But why the old editor doesn’t supports the “featured image” feature? It appears that it needs to be updated!

  These duplicate threads are complicating matters, so I’ll close this one and just address the same question in the other thread. If you can keep it to one thread per issue (and one issue per thread) that would be best. Cheers :)
