Big collection of photos in WordPress

  Hi

  I am working on a WordPress-site for a local car club, and I’ve been told that they need their (somewhat huge) photo collection on their page. I looked at their old page, and they seem to be using Coppermine for the gallery.

  Turns out there are about 5000 photos to work with, and to be honest, I have no idea how I’m going to do that.

  Does anyone have suggestions for a plugin that enables me to have:
  a) Multiple albums, combined on one page (sorted by date)
  b) Options to import whole bulks of photos
  c) A comfortable viewer
  d) An interface that is generally simple to use for people with less knowhow

  Thanks in advance, would really appreciate any hints and suggestions.
