big database import

    we are thinking to transfer our site (wordpress self hosted) to wordpress.com. The problem is that our database can be imported only with shh. Is it possible?

    Hi @giorgosoffsite, if you’re using a Business plan, you can use SFTP, but I’m not sure about SSH. Our VIP plans might offer that though, or our Business Plan support may be able to help from their end. Or, as another option: there are plugins available that can help you clone a site. Again, that would work on our Business plan.

    Also, it _should_ still be possible to export the site and import it like so:
    https://transferto.wordpress.com/self-hosted-wordpress-org/

    If you’re able to create the export there, but it’s not importing here, let us know. We can likely help you sort that out.
