  how do i get rid of the white box above my posts?

  Have you uploaded a Featured Image? I don’t know that theme, but it looks like that’s where a Featured Image is supposed to go.

  raincoaster’s hunch is right. There must be a featured image in every post in the Oxygen theme or those white boxes will appear if there isn’t one. See here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/oxygen-theme-and-featured-image?replies=2#post-901483
