Bigger writing space
-
Most of us spend a lot of time writing and putting pictures in our blogs. I think it would be marvelous if the writing space took up more than 1/8 or so of the screen. Surely all the extraneous stuff could be put in a side bar to give us a bigger writing space.
Maybe the WordPress writing space could take some tips from its own themes by using sidebars, widgets, and plug-ins to give us more writing space. Maybe use flyouts or tabbed workspaces like many software programs use.
It’s frustrating to write a couple of paragraphs and insert a picture and not be able to see everything on the screen without scrolling up and down several times to proofread and check layout.
