Bilingual Posts: How to get each post under 2 different pages

Hello. I just opened up a wordpress page but I have had a goggle sites blog for a year now and on google sites I was able to have 2 separate pages where I would post in english and the other in spanish. I would write them out in word and then just paste them to the webapge. I moved over to WP and I would love to have 2 pages again for english and spanish but after I added the spanish page, I do not know how to get my spanish posts to go under that page. When i make the post it automatically goes under the english( main post) post page. I have them under categories as well but that did not move it either. Can someone give me some idea how i can get those posts under the right pages??

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

By default, when you add categories or tags to your blog posts, WordPress will automatically create index pages for them. You can see for example that your English posts and posts en Español are present on these two category pages:

If you wish, you can add these page links to your menu so that site visitors will see only one language or the other.

Also I can see that on https://pastpresentfutureadventistlife.com/blog-en-espanol/ you used the Blog Posts block to display your blog posts on that page, and chose the option to include specific posts by name.

However, you can more simply do this by setting the block to use the category for Spanish posts as shown here:

This way any post with the category of Publicaciones en Español will show up on this page automatically, and you will not need to edit the block to remember to add it manually.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Wow, Yes that is a great help! I spent two days loading all those spanish translated posts so its good to know that linking it with that category it will automatically do this. Thank you so much for the information!! :)
