bill pay
-
I just want to pay my bill with my new bank acct. I’ve spent twenty minutes trying to click on updates and every other freaking button. I know those of us who blog are supposed to be tech-savy, but can’t your programmers install a “PAY MY DAMN BILL” button?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy,
I’m afraid I have to the bearer of bad news. Your domain expired on July 25th, after which there is a two-week grace period. After the grace period, the renew button was replaced with a note to contact support.
After that, the domain goes into what’s known as “redemption” where you can renew with a late fee, while at the same time, the domain is put up to auction by the upstream domain provider (e.g. not WordPress.com, but the folks who provide the domains to us).
More about the expiration process can be found here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/
In reviewing your account, it appears someone has won the domain at auction, so we are unable to petition to have it returned.
Your site can continue to be viewed at http://justthissideofmedicated.wordpress.com/
Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything, please let me know.

1. How do I find out who won the auction so that I can get my domain back?
2. If I don’t give a rat’s ass about what the domain name is, can my blog retain it’s title- being different from the domain name. -
Also, I did a whois look up, and I’m assuming the guy who bought it does so as a resale buisness. Is there a way to find out what the sale price was?

Howdy,
- You can look up the current owner of the domain through a “whois” lookup. You can use a ton of different places to do it, but a direct link to one is here: http://who.godaddy.com/whois.aspx?domain=justthissideofmedicated.com&prog_id=GoDaddy
- Sure, you can visit your Settings->General option page (direct link: https://justthissideofmedicated.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php ) to change the title of the site that is displayed on the home page, notifications and elsewhere.
If you have any questions or need anything else, please let us know. Have a great weekend.
