Billed 30 days early via automatic billing that was originally set as "disabled"

Why is my checking account being billed 30 days before the renewal date? The bill is due on “July 30th”….however, my account was debited today….”July 2nd.” Also I requested that it NOT be automatically billed, yet your system automatically billed me anyway. Why?!!!

Hi Ramona,

I see where your domain vibeslifeenergyalignment.com was recently renewed automatically. When domains are set to auto-renew, they attempt to renew 30 days before the expiration date, which was that July 30th date.
This is to be sure that if there are any problems at all, there is time to change payment method or otherwise address the issue without any risk of losing the domain, which can happen if it expires.
I wasn’t able to find a record of the auto-renew being turned off, but you can do that on the My Upgrades page here:

If you attempted to disable it and there was an error, my apologies. If you need me to cancel that domain and refund it, I can take care of that for you, just let me know. :)
