Billed but shouldn’t of been

    Hey!

    I’ve been billed by wordpress and I don’t know why. I haven’t used the site in over a year and didn’t think there was any billing made. I’m not sure what account it is but have a reference to it. What can I do?

    Thanks for getting in touch. I’m happy to help you sort out this billing question. The charge is coming from a different WordPress.com user account than the one that you have signed in with to contact us in these forums. There aren’t any charges or upgrades connected to the user account, rorybarnes96.

    In order to process a refund we need to locate the correct account. Please enter the details on this page: https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/

    Also, any time we process a payment there’s an automatic email receipt notification sent out. Can you locate that email? There will be a site address listed in the email, and with that I can find the right account. Otherwise, you can try to sign in at WordPress.com with the email address that received the notification.
