billed for deleted account

I deleted my account a few months ago, and removed my payment method to ensure I wouldn’t be billed, yet i have still been billed.
I have been charged $85 yet when I go to payment methods it says ‘you have no saved cards’ and when i go to purchases ‘you don’t have any wordpress sites’, so I am not sure what I am being billed for and would like a refund.

It’s not linked to your account.
The charge you’re talking about it associated with the account you’re currently logged in to, so if you want to receive a refund go to your Purchases page (https://wordpress.com/me/purchases) and cancel the upgrades.

The issue I’m having is that when I click on the link I’m taken to ‘Manage Purchases’ and it says:
You don’t have any WordPress sites yet.
Would you like to start one?So I’m not sure how to proceed. I would like to cancel everything, but it seems like that isn’t as straightforward as it should be.

Your account has not been closed, and you have been billed for auto-renew on plan Personal and domain registration for linesfilledin.com.
Those subscriptions were done from the account you’re reaching out from –
awil987. You should be able to cancel those directly from your account; just make sure you’re logged in asawil987. From there, if you have any issues, you will also be able to reach us via live chat – https://wordpress.com/help/contact.We can also help you cancel both your plan and domain for you here. However, we’ll need a confirmation if that’s what you want to do. Canceling the domain is permanent and means you will lose any rights to it. If you’d like to use this domain in the future, even with another site, it’s best to transfer it instead.

Can I cancel both my plan and domain here then please? For some reason nothing is coming up in account settings when I try to cancel from my account.

I have canceled the plan+domain and processed the refund. So you should be all set. Please keep in mind that while many refunds show up withing 24-48 hours, it is not unusual for them to take up to 7-10 days. And in rare cases, typically with non USA banks, even longer.
