  so if i am to start my subscription today i would need to have the full 299 in my account or is it saying that i will be billed in full when the year is coming to a close? Is there a monthly payment option ?

  Hello @propfd,
  All premium upgrades(billed yearly) has to be paid in full, at the time of the purchase and not when the year is coming to a close. There are no monthly payment options.

  And for premium themes WordPress.COM has a one-time fee(no annual billing), which also has to be paid at the time of the purchase itself.
