If you don’t know what a charge is about, you can check it at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/. On the same page is a form to contact the Billing Team.

  • Hi there,

You were billed $66 on 14 January. That charge was $48 for the renewal of the Personal Plan, and $18 for the domain, luke1913online.org. So there was only one charge.

This is outlined in the receipt we emailed you, and which you can also view in your billing history page at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing

You cancelled those upgrades on the same day, and we issued a full refund. You can see a receipt for the refund in your billing history page as well.

You should have received that refund already, but if not, please contact your bank directly, quoting the transaction ID in the refund receipt as a reference. If your bank says they need an ARN number, let us know and we can provide that to you.

Please close this account. I will contact my bank to stop all payments in February.

WordPress.com upgrades renew annually, so there was never going to be any charges in February. But as you cancelled those upgrades you also won’t be charged again, as you no longer own any paid subscriptions with us.

If you want to close your account completely, you can do that from the account settings page. But note that if you do that, you will lose access to your receipts in Billing History, and you also won’t be able to contact support any more.

For security reasons we cannot close your account on your behalf – only the logged in owner of an account can take this action:
