  Can I be billed on a monthly basis instead of yearly?

  WordPress.com plans are annual. There are no monthly purchases, whatsoever.

  There is no way you can do that. You can always sign up with an annual subscription and request for cancelation and refund if you’re not satisfied.

  Refunds can be processed within 30 days of purchase for plans and within 48 hours for domains.
