I do not use my wordpress services and just cancelled. I was hoping WordPress would be willing to refund my most recent charges?

As long as the purchases were made under 30 days (48 hours for domain names), that’s something that the WordPress staff can help you with.
I’m going to tag this thread for staff so they can take a look at the issue.

Please note that this is a partial refund because you canceled the upgrade on February 14. Domain registrations must be canceled within 48 hours to receive a refund. You can learn more about our refund policy here:
