I received an invoice for a subscription renewal. I don’t have an active WordPress site and I’m wondering what I am being charged for?

Perhaps you have more than one account here? If you do, but you do not recall the password, we have some options for you at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
Also, if you enter the charge details at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ we should be able to help you with this.
