  I’m seeing 2 bills recently and I thought I cut off auto renewal and removed my credit card. I also want to cancel my account, that your website doesn’t seem to know that I have.

  Hi there:

  I took a look, and it doesn’t look like there’s any history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity under the account you’re currently logged into, so we’re limited to what we can help with and advise here.

  If you enter the charge details at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ we should be able to help you with this.

  The transaction ID needed will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:

  WordPress XXXXXXXXXX

  If the charge on your bank statement does not follow that format, the charge was not made here at WordPress.com.

  And for $18.00 for receipt (redacted) on 9/19/22

  That’s what I’m trying to find out and I can’t get into WP because it says I don’t have an account!

  How do I talk with an actual wordpress employee about this? There seems to be no contact emails or phone numbers on the website.

  Hi Doug –

  You’ll see that I removed the receipt details and your phone number. Since these forums do get indexed by search engines it is best to keep personal details out of public spaces like this one.

  What has happened is that you wrote to us from this account @gerbwa where there aren’t any upgrades or purchases. The purchases happened under a different user account.

  We can process a refund after you enter the necessary details on the left hand side of this page: https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/

  Another way, is to sign in to WordPress.com using the email address where you were sent the receipts for the transactions (it’s going to be different from the one you used to sign in to the account in use here). After you sign in to the account, go to https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/ and you can cancel and refund from there with out our help.
