Billing after cancellation & unable to delete my site

    Hi,

After cancelling my domain and removing auto renewal, I can still see an upcoming billing charge on my account. First of all, it has not been a full year and I have deleted my domain before the full year (in regards to the date I created the domain). Secondly, I have removed auto renew and it even says my current plan right now is beginner (free). And it’s also listed an expiry date for the domain. What I don’t get is that it is still charging me for another year (in the billing history) even though I have clearly deleted before the year is up.

Also now that I have deleted I was wondering if wordpress could please remove my information on that whois site. It’s very private information and I signed up for a private domain. Now that I’ve cancelled it, it’s sad that all my information is still up there. Please help!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

I’m sorry for the confusion. The domain flat48.com is still active (not cancelled), but it’s currently set to expire on February 23, 2015. Since it isn’t set to auto renew, it won’t renew and you won’t be charged unless you choose to renew it from your My Upgrades page.

The upcoming charge listed in your Billing History is incorrect — I’ll let our team know so they can look into why that’s appearing there, but I’ve confirmed that your domain is not set to auto renew.

Would you like me to go ahead and permanently cancel the domain flat48.com for you now? You cancelled the private registration, but the domain itself is still registered (which is why the domain is still listed in WHOIS). I could also re-add your private registration if you’d like to keep it until it the domain expires in February. Just let me know.
