Billing clarification

  I have a self hosted site via wordpress.org and I have been billed for Akismet Pro Blogger via wordpress.com (where I have no domain). Is that how it’s supposed to work? Am I paying for something I don’t actually use?

  Can someone please clarify for me? Thank you,

  I am thinking, that is how it is supposed to work. AKISMET pro is product of Automattic which runs WordPress.com as well. I am guessing the team at Akismet is using the infrastructure and payment gateway at WordPress.com and hence the WordPress.com on your bill. I am thinking you are good here.

  Thanks. Yeah, I went and had a look at the plugins on my site and Akismet Pro Blogger is activated and has been auto updating as expected. I haven’t been active on my site for just over a year (geez, I must get back in to it!) but all seems to be working well.

  Issue clarified. Nice.
