    Hi,

I’d like to see the billing options in AUD not in SEK. How do I change currency for the site plan?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

Staff can assist in changing the currency to AUD.

In addition, I’m tagging this as “modlook” so it can be addressed sooner.

    Hope this helps! :)

  • Hey there,

I’ve just made that change for you and so you should see pricing in AUD.

Out of curiosity, what are you looking to build and what would you like your visitors to do when visiting the site? I’ll happily offer advice on which plan would be required.

Hi @aleone89 – thank you so much!

I will build a business site using Elementor’s design plugin. I’ve done this previously but then with hosting + domain already setup through a third-party or through WP on what I assume to be a WordPress CMS with a Business Plan subscription. How do I see which plan the sites that I’m working on has?

Another question I have is if it’s always required to have a Business Plan in order to use plugins? as you may or may not know Elementor offers an end-to-end solution called Elementor Cloud Website and I’m unsure if this launches a site on WordPress.org (no business plan required) or WordPress.com (assuming with the need to get a business plan in addition to their own hosting offering?)

Many thanks in advance for any wisdom you can share,
    Em

  • Hi Em! If you need Elementor, I’d recommend the Business plan so you can add outside themes and plugins. Our service includes SSL hosting, direct WordPress support, spam protection, backups, maintenance, security, and a bunch of other features that don’t come with the free software:
    https://wordpress.com/business

And because outisde plugins and themes add complexity to our support and maintenance, we do require the Business plan or higher to add those here. Or, you are welcome to use your own free copy of WordPress with another host, and use community resources or hired contractors if you don’t have time to take care of security, maintenance, etc. yourself.

Also, I don’t see a second site on this account. Did you know you can connect multiple sites to a single user? Even if you’re just using Jetpack rather than our hosting, you can manage from one account if you’d like. Then to see any site’s plan, head to our plans page and select the relevant site.
