Billing Error

Paypal auto payments shows an unauthorized billing amount of $ 394.00 initiated by WordPress yesterday. I did not authorize this. Paypal does not shoe this amount has hit my account yet.

Paypal referred me to WordPress Customer Service. I can find no way to directly contact anyone. I can find no way to investigate this billing error investigate.

The change credit card details page tells you how to edit/change payment methods.
The Why was I charged? page might be useful.
You can request a refund from the manage purchases page.

I would be happy to assist you in potentially cancelling and refunding your purchase. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into refunding the subscription purchase.

I am having a great deal of trouble navigating through this on WordPress. Thank you for your help.
Paypal helped me figure out that this was the cumulative amount of the payments I made for another Blog plan, scentualsecrets.wordpress.com. So now I understand better what is going on.
With your help I selected Upgrade Account, which is not what I want to do so I never thought to select it before. This second blog plan is paid thru May, 2017. I will address the upgrade or downgrade of this account at that time.
Due to a card info theft the bank cancelled the card associated with my Paypal account. This creates a second fix I have to make with WordPress. I am at a loss as to how to do this.

Why is it that under Billing History I have no record of any payments being made to WordPress? Infant three payments have bee made to WordPress for scentualsecrets.wordpress.com?

Because this is not the account where you made the purchases. You’ll need to log into the account where you made the purchases in order to see the billing history.

One account has both blogs. One is a free blog and one is a Premium Blog. Three annual payments were made for the Premium Domain. There is no record of these Payments in the WordPress Payment History of the only account I have on WordPress. And yet Paypal has record of three payments made to WordPress for this domain.

I would need more information regarding this $394 charge. scentualsecrets.wordpress.com has no history of charges associated with the site. Neither of the blogs under the account you are contacting us from has any history of charges.
Do you happen to have the PayPal transaction number for these charges? If so, I can email you for that information and can search our system for the charges.
