Billing me for something i dont have

    Its been many years since i have used a wordpress account. I can recall that i have unsubsribed to all of mye plans but today i got a billing of $45 which is insane. I dont know how this is possible. How can they charge you money for something you dont even use.

    Hi there,

    The account you’re using to post here does not own any upgrades on WordPress.com, and we don’t even have billing info on file for you. What is the address of the site where you used to have upgrades with us?

    We also don’t sell any upgrade that costs $45 (and in fact the account you’re using to post here is set to use Norwegian Kroner as the currency), so this doesn’t sound like a charge from WordPress.com.

    If the charge is from us, the transaction description on your credit card statement should show “WORDPRESS”, followed by a unique alpha-numeric code, and a phone number.

    Please don’t post the unique code here. Just confirm for me whether you see it or not.

    Alternatively, you can also try searching for the transaction at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/, and contact our billing support team directly via the form on that site for more help with this.
