Billing Mistake for Premium Package

    There’s been a mistake in billing. I ‘ve been charged 99$ for a Premium package in connection with my free WP website, my first attempt at making a blog using my own name. I received no notification for this operation.
    However, I was notified of eventual auto renewal for the domain and premium package associated with my second WP blog that I hoped to make for my business. I was quick to disable auto renewal. In fact this product has not yet even expired. I have no plan to renew my professional website, nor the associated domain name nor the premium package which I purchased last November.
    So, why was I billed for a premium package in late September?
    Also, I found irritating the fact that the 99$ fee only came to my attention upon receiving my credit card statement. Debit date is Sept 27, yet no refund possible Oct 22? How is this operation even considered a renewal?

    Hi there,

    Are you referring to the charge for the Premium bundle on eleahendriks.wordpress.com? It looks like you started a Premium bundle trial on 9/14/14. When you start a trial (good for two weeks), we automatically setup the upgrade to renew at the end of the trial period, hence why the Premium bundle renewed on 9/28/14. Would you like me to refund this transaction?

    You have another Premium bundle that is completely separate (on the blog danceplaydotcadotco.wordpress.com with the domain danceplay.co). That upgrade has not renewed and isn’t set to automatically renew. It will expire on 11/4/14 unless you manually renew it here:

    Hello,
    Thank you for your quick response. Yes, I would like you to refund the amount.

    I ‘m still not clear on how I purchased the premium package in September of last year, I will need to check my credit statement to see if I was also billed at the time.

    My only receipt dates from 11/3/2013, and is associated with dance play.co, which I will let expire this year.

    Hi!

    I have cancelled and refunded the Premium bundle from eleahendriks.wordpress.com. The funds should appear on your bank account within the next several days.

    Regarding the purchase, this wasn’t made last year. It looks like you elected to start a Premium bundle trial (two weeks free) starting on 9/14/14. At the end of the trial, you were billed for a year of WordPress.com Premium starting on 9/28/14. Do you remember starting the trial on that blog?
