Billing on an e-commerce website

  Hi,
  I would like to know how the billing on an e-commerce website works, as I would like to build a website for someone.
  Would I need their bank details and would they be able to get conformation of orders sent straight to them.
  Finally as I am building the website through WordPress would it be the cause that their details would be held on my computer and would it be stored remotely.

  First, you should have them set up their own WordPress.com account and they can set up their own site and billing of the Business plan. This also provides them the ownership of the site.

  Then, they can give you access by following the guidelines set here so you can work on the site:

  Any development work would be done on our servers.
