Billing problem

  Hi
  I got the reminder that I would be charged for the domain sayinggoodbyeslowly.co.uk on the site ‘sayinggoodbyeslowly.co.uk’ but I wanted to stop the charges and close the website. I removed all links to payments (so I thought) but could not find out how to close the site. I thought it would close automatically if i did not pay.

  I checked my details and see no credit card so I don’t understand how you could have taken a payment.

  Please can you refund my payment and close ALL my sites.
  I can’t afford this payment and don’t understand how you took a payment.

  Hi Kate,

  The domain, sayinggoodbyeslowly.co.uk, belongs to a different WordPress.com account than the one you’re using to post here. You need to be logged into the correct account to cancel that domain.

  Go to https://wordpress.com/me/ and click the Sign Out button.

  Then log back in using the email address at which you received the renewal reminder email. If needed, you can request a password reset using that email address here:

  https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  Once you’re logged into the correct account, you can cancel the domain from the Purchases page, here:

  https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/
