Billing Question

  Hello,
  Last month, my bank account was charged $26. I didn’t notice it until I saw today that I was charged another $30. I haven’t used WordPress in over two years and have no use for it, I’m afraid. I would like to close whatever account is charging me and to be refunded these two charges. Unfortunately, I have no information for how to get into the account, only this number which was included on my bank statement: S305090124303361. Thank you for you help in this matter.

  WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

  Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

  Hi–

  That’s my concern. I’m not sure what this account is, but it’s tied to my checking account. The account I am using is the only one I can recall ever having. Did the number sequence above provide any clues?

  I am going to email you privately. Without the WordPress.com account name that has been charged, or the WordPress.com site in question, I cannot find that charge or issue you a refund. The transaction number on your bank statement isn’t in the format of our transaction codes, either, so that’s no help.

  Let’s chat via private email and see if we can get to the bottom of this.
