Hi there!
If you’re no longer using the WordPress.com site, then nope! No need to renew your Premium plan. It’s set to expire on February 16th.
Let me know if you have any more questions!

Thanks for the quick reply…but I just thought of something, I want to start a new wordpress site for a film I’m producing. Am I better off just letting this expire and then start a new one? totally different domain, etc…. Jeff

Either way! You can always transfer the upgrade if you renew it and want it on a different site of yours:

Or you can let it expire and when your new site is created you can purchase the Premium plan then.
Your choice! :)

OK…so it wouldn’t really make life “easier” by transferring it. I’m a few weeks away from having that site ready. One quick question, is a wordpress site the same as a wordpress blog? thanks so much. Jeff

Hi Jeff!
Yep! Every WordPress can have a blog component, or not. Or have a ‘professional’ component, or not. If you’re looking to set up a more professional looking site, we have a guide with some tips to do that here:

You’ve been wonderful, I’m going to have a friend who adept at WP sites do it for me…so I’ll be back in a few weeks :-) thanks so much. Jeff
