Bing not showing wordpress.com site

Bing is not showing my wordpress.com site in its search results (but Google is), yet I followed all the instructions and submitted it 6 weeks ago. Checking in Bing, the site is verfied, but it is asking for a sitemap, yet WordPress says this is provided automatically. I can’t find any help to resolve this issue.

It takes weeks for search engines to index content. We cannot assist with search engine issues. They are between the blogger and the search engine. http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

That is the process that I followed. I am asking why it has not worked, given that I followed it correctly. WordPress says to not uppload a sitemap, as one is already available to the search engines, yet this is what Bing is asking for. Can you please advise.
