Bing Site Verification

  Ok, so I’ve gone back to blogging after a two year hiatus. Trying to verify the site with Bing.

  It’s not working. Dropped the metacontent data into the box under tools/available tools.

  It ain’t workin.’ Bing says “site not verified.

  So. what gives? Do I need to write nice things about the Bing search engine in my blog? Should I put a “powered by Microsoft” logo in the bottom right hand corner of the blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Just to double-check, you are following this guide, including Step 5

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/#bing-webmaster-center

  I also notice that you have a Custom Domain. Did you try submitting with your Custom Domain or with the underlying WP.com URL?
