black and while photo insertion results in red image

I scanned a black and white photo into my iPhoto software. It looked fine there (black and white). I then posted it to my blog, but it came out red (see my media library July 6. img 046).
The problem seems to occur when I post the photo. Please advise. Thankyou Paul Goldfinger @Blofinger

It looks like iPhoto may have saved it in the wrong color set, or it was in the wrong color set originally. Before uploading, select Export from the File menu, export at the desired settings, then upload the resulting exported file.

Thank you. Your suggestion did not work. I contacted Apple, and they evidently just last week identified this as a problem with iPhoto. Their engineers are currently looking for a fix.
Meanwhile they suggested scanning the black and white images setting the scanner for color instead of B&W. This worked, and I was able to post a photo on my blog. Once the cure is found, the fix will be added to an iPhoto update in the near future (hopefully).
