Black block covering entire pages

  Hi, I’m buliding a website for a school exam with the wordpress.com free plan.
  I’m using a free theme because I wanted something nicer than Twenty-Twenty Five, so I set up my site using the free Fotograma theme.
  For some reason though, all my pages apart from the homepage are obstructed by a huge black block covering them. If I go into inspect element, I can delete it and the pages are perfect under it, exactly how I see them in the editor, where there is no trace of that black block.
  Please help! I really need this site to be easily viewable. Thanks in advance.
