Black Border on Slideshow
-
I am using the Twenty-Thirteen Theme on jasminecreek.wordpress.com. I added 5 pictures to the front page and selected “Slideshow” so the pictures would rotate. There is a black border around the pictures.
The HTML code for the slideshow is…[gallery type="slideshow" ids="95,51,18,17,16,15"]…is there a way to edit the code to make the black border disappear?
Thanks

That’s a background not a border. See here http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/04/16/custom-frame-around-slideshow/

Thanks…do I delete the HTML code I noted above and replace it with this? Or do I add this as a second line of code?

no, keep the HTML code above and place the code in the URL below it. This worked beautifully for me.
I was able to find the code in CSS, but customizing that to change the color of the background and border doesn’t save for some reason. This HTML basically does the same thing, but you will have to put it in each page you may have a slideshow running.
