I’m also having the same problem. The dashboard comes up for a second and then goes to black screen.

These are the troubleshooting steps we take whenever any issues like this arise:
clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
updating the browser to the latest stable vesrion (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/
confirming third party cookies is enabled http://support.google.com/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=61416
confirming JavaScript is enabled http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654
trying another browser like Firefox 11 or Safari
confirming your Flash is updated http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not up to date then this is where to download and install the latest version of Flash. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
resetting your router and modem -
Did everything you suggested and still having the issue. Very frustrating.
Thanks, TiTi.

Still doing it. If I hit refresh, it comes back but only for a few seconds. It’s probably something on my end. If only I knew what…

That worked. I was using Chrome before (which has never given me trouble until today) and I switched to Firefox. Guess I’ll either have to get used to Firefox or use two browsers.
Thanks for the help.
-
Ah, good. At least we know it’s specific to Chrome on your computer. I’m not noticing the issue in Chrome myself.
Would you please try disabling all Chrome extensions? Also, which version of Chrome are you running?
-
Latest version of Chrome. I disabled all Chrome extensions and my dashboard is doing the same thing.
-
Hm, blast. Have you tried re-installing Chrome? Sometimes the auto-updater can do some wacky things to the files.
(To be honest, I prefer Firefox over Chrome, but that’s just me.)
-
Re-installing Chrome was the first thing I did when I noticed the problem. I’ve used Firefox in the past. Guess it’s time to go back.
Thanks again.

monfog, I am having the same problems and I have already followed all the steps. You are not the only one.
-
It is not only with WP dashboard, the black screen is also in Flickr. I cannot even enter into my own account.

@zambullida
I have flagged this thread for Staff attention. Will you please post your answers to these questions:
1. How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. It sounds like there could be a problem with your ISP. Can you access any of these directly?

3. Exactly which browser and version of it are you using? If you don’t know click here to find out > http://whatsmyuseragent.com/
4. Is your Flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not up to date then this is where to download and install the latest version of Flash. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

I can access directly using the three links.
